IOWANS SETTING GOALS FOR HEALTH

Set a running goal for 2012. There is a growing number of individuals who are desiring to hit the running trails but do not know where to start. I would suggest setting a reachable goal. A 5k race is a great place to start. The Springtime Hill Climb will be held this April and is a great time for a first time run. A 5K is 3.1 mile and can be achieved by most anyone who is willing to work at it. During January if you were to just follow our 4 Fitness Tips and then in February start the Couch to 5K plan you will be more than ready for your first 5K on the 21st of April. So set your goal and register today to keep motivated during the journey.
